Time Warp Toolworks Contest

Time Warp Toolworks - Makers of fine woodworking toolsGarth and Chris over at Time Warp Toolworks are launching a contest today.  At the end of 2011 they published their “Traveler’s Gallery”  to capture some photos of work done with their moulding planes.

To increase the submissions they have giving you the chance to win some free stuff when you submit a photo or comment on an existing photo in the gallery.  The full details can be found on the Time Warp Toolworks site.

Time Warp Toolworks StampGet your chance to win a stamp to mark your tools or your work like this one.  It is sturdy and can be best used by pressing it into the work with a clamp, or you can heat it beforehand.  This darkens the imprint a bit making it stand out even clearer.

RWW stamped planesHere I marked my Time Warp moulding planes using the stamp.  It gives them a vintage feel common to all my 18th and 19th century planes with maker’s marks on the ends.  It make a really nice touch in addition to making it easy to identify your tools when your sneaky Wood Talk Online co-hosts come to visit and something goes missing 🙂

Wooden Bench DogsThe other prize they have is a chance to win some wooden bench dogs.  I have been using these since Woodworking in America last October and I love them.  No more worrying about the possibility of nicking your blade with a brass dog.  I have the 3″ models.  What’s exciting is that Time Warp will start making 5″ long dogs to meet the needs of the current Roubo workbench craze.

So head over to Time Warp Toolworks and enter to win some great stuff!  Tell them I sent you and you get absolutely NOTHING!
