Tour the Woodworking in America 2011 Marketplace

Woodworking in America 2011On all accounts WIA 2011 was a great success.  I talked to many woodworkers who raved about their favorites classes, but to a person their favorite was the WIA marketplace.  Sure lots of money was spent, but the knowledge was free and their were demonstrations as far as the eye can see.  I tore myself away from the Hand Tool School booth momentarily late in the day on Saturday and took a tour of the entire show floor.  Enjoy the ride!

Nice tour. Now for me to go back and freeze frame on all the tool porn.

Thanks for the Marketplace tour! Regretfully I didn’t actually get the chance to walk around and see stuff. Now I can, briefly.

If I were rich and famous, I’d follow John Economaki’s and Mark Harrell’s example: hire customers to assist at the show. No better sales force.

Glad you were so busy and generated a lot of interest in your school.

  3. What a great tour! Thanks, from all of us who couldn’t be there.
